The Russophobic line of the West is not justified in any way and has no prospects, said Sergey Lavrov, Russian Foreign Minister, APA reports citing Ria Novosti.
“In the USA, Great Britain, Canada, the EU countries, they do not hide the goal of“ strangling ”our economy, blocking the further progressive development of the country ... It is obvious that this Russophobic line not only cannot be justified in any way but also has no prospects. As President Vladimir Putin noted, Russia withstood this unprecedented pressure,” Lavrov said in an interview with Xinhua.
In his opinion, the situation is currently stabilizing, and even if there are other risks, it will not be possible to weaken Russia.
