"If they [the EU] really want to hurt us [Russia], let them cancel themselves," Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova commented on Wednesday with regard to the imminent sanctions the European Union is planning to reveal later today, APA reports citing Teletrader.
As for the Russia-Ukraine negotiations, talking on the Sputnik radio channel, the ministry spokesperson urged not to focus on Kiev's statements as that is "pointless" adding that "today they [Ukrainian officials] ask for one thing, then they refuse it and blame [Russia] for not getting something."
