"Russia has never threatened with a nuclear weapon," said Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova, APA's Moscow correspondent reports.
According to her, the US accusations about Russia's possible use of nuclear war in Ukraine have several purposes:
"The Americans, who have always accused Russia of using nuclear weapons in Ukraine, have some goals. One of these goals is known - to intimidate its people. But Russia has never threatened not only with nuclear weapons but has warned all parties against such irresponsible actions, which does not satisfy Washington."
