Azerbaijan selects Elnur Huseynov for Eurovision-2008 <font color=red>- PHOTOSESSION</font>

He sang a duet with Samir Javadzade at the national final.
The three singers performed two songs each and the winner was chosen by a 13 member jury at a national song event held at Heydar Aliyev Concert Complex.
The show featured performances by three finalists, Aynur Iskanderli, Elnur Huseynov and the rock band Unformal.
Public TV (ITV) chairman Ismayil Omarov headed jury that includes Farhad Badalbayli, Eldar Mansurov, Ibrahim Guliyev, Mikhail Gusman, Lala Kazimova, Vagif Garayzadeh, Afag Malikova, Tarana Muradova, Azad Aliyev, Murad Adigozalzadeh, Rauf Babayev, Natavan Sheikhova.
Sertap Erener, Ruslana and Maria Sherifovich who were the winners of Eurovision Song Contest in various years also attended the first-ever qualifying in Baku.
Ruslana said Elnur’s voice will be the greatest support for success at the Contest.
“I hope Elnur will return to Azerbaijan after winning the first place,” she noted after the national final.
Elnur Huseynov was born in the family of serviceman in Ashgabat, the capital of Turkmenistan on March 3 in 1987. Huseynov, whose mother is music theorist studied in the class of piano. He moved to Baku in 1999. He entered dental-mechanic faculty in Medical Technical School in 2000 and Music School named after Zeynalli in 2001. He worked in State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. He was awarded Grand Prix in Sing Your Song Contest in 2004. He learned stylist-barber profession after graduating from school. He prepared choir in State Philharmonic Society named after Magomayev. Huseynov who is working in church choir takes lessons from Rashad Hashimov, after Sevda Mammadova and Fidan Hajiyeva. /APA/
