15th meeting of UNESCO’s Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage

On December 14, 15th meeting of UNESCO’s Intergovernmental operating on the basis of the UNESCO Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage dated 2003 started, the Ministry of Culture of Azerbaijan told APA.

Opening the meeting with introductory speech UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay and the chairman of the 15th committee, Ministry of Culture, Gender, Entertainment and Sport of Jamaica Olivia Grange wished success to participants.

At the 15th meeting of the committee our country is represented by the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the officials of our permanent missions to UNESCO Vasif Eyvazzade and Ayaz Gojayev.
