There are 6 architectural, 5 archeological monuments of world importance in the liberated territories of Azerbaijan

There are 706 state-registered historical and cultural monuments in the liberated territories from the occupation, the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage established under Ministry of Culture told APA.

6 of the state-registered monuments are architectural monuments of world importance, 5 are archeological monuments of world importance, 119 are architectural monuments of country importance, 121 are archeological monuments of country importance, 393 are architectural monuments of local importance,  23 are local parks, monuments and memorials of local importance, 22 are archeological monuments of local importance, 17 are examples of decorative-applied arts.

The conducted monitoring covers Shusha, Jabrayil, Fuzuli, Zangilan, Khojavend, Gubadli, Aghdam and Kalbajar regions.
