Examples of cultural heritage belonging to the ancient period were discovered in Aghdam., APA reports citing the State Service for Protection, Development, and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture.
The ministry stated that after the liberation of our lands from occupation, the State Service for Protection, Development, and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture is conducting appropriate monitoring and protection measures in those areas.
"According to Cabinet of Ministers Decision No. 132, ancient and medieval jug remains and fragmented parts of pottery were discovered in the Rasultape settlement, located in Agdaməs Pashabeyli village. All discovered jug remains were handed over to the Aghdam District Museum of History and Local History," the statement says.
