“Instruction of restoration of monuments in Shusha has been developed,” Azad Jafarli, Chief of the State Service for Protection, Development, and Restoration of Cultural Heritage said at the press conference of the body on its activity in 2021, and plans envisaged for 2022, APA reports.

According to him, the document reflects the following information and recommendations: “The results of the occupation and destructions that it caused, monitoring and inventory of monuments, restoration, and regeneration of the monuments, restoration process, identification and localization information of the monuments, typology and characteristics of buildings, restoration status and risk factors of the monuments, urgent security measures for their protection, historical architectural research of the monuments and architecture typology are envisaged.”
