An appeal has been addressed to UNESCO on Yerevan and Tapabashi settlement of the city, it has been announced today in the presentation of an investigation on "Fate of Tapabashi settlement, which is the last vestige of the national-cultural, historical heritage of Azerbaijan in Yerevan city: Destruction of the heritage of Azerbaijani people in Armenia and elimination of historical signs", APA reports.

It has been noted that an appeal has been addressed to UNESCO Director-General Audrey Azoulay by a group of scientific figures and public representatives of Azerbaijan on the cultural genocide policy pursued by Armenia against the national-cultural, and historical heritage of Azerbaijan in Yerevan, as well as the Tapabashi settlement of the city.
