Migration zone of birds on Strait of Bohai, located on the coast of the Yellow Sea, has been included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, APA reports.

This decision was made at the 43rd Session of the World Heritage Committee in Baku. Migration zone of birds on Strait of Bohai, located on the coast of the Yellow Sea, was put forward by China.

The region was included on the World Heritage List following the discussions.

Note that in total 35 nominations were discussed. Five of them are natural and the rest are cultural monuments. 15 nominations were given in Europe and one in Africa.

Note that the issue of including the ancient part of Azerbaijan's Shaki city and Palace of Shaki Khans on the list of World Heritage will be discussed at the 43rd Session of the World Heritage Committee.
