First tourist trips to Shusha to begin this month

Tourism visits to the cultural capital of Shusha, which has a high historical significance and cultural and moral value for the Azerbaijani people, are starting. Under the leadership of Victorious Supreme Commander, Mr. Ilham Aliyev, after the glorious victory of the heroic Azerbaijan Army in the Patriotic War, tourist trips will be organized for the first time to the territories liberated from occupation, the State Tourism Agency told APA.

Being a part of the Great Return policy, the project aims at organizing safe tourism trips to the cultural capital of citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan who have reached the age of 18, as well as to increase economic activity in the liberated areas from the occupation.

The first tourist trips will be carried out once a week before the Novruz holiday - from March 18.
