Italian National Holiday celebrated in Baku, APA reports.
The event was held in connection with the Italian-Azerbaijani diplomatic and friendly relations.
Along with Italian Ambassador Claudio Taffuri and embassy representatives, Assistants of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Hikmet Hajiyev, Anar Alakbarov, Minister of Education Emil Amrullayev and Deputy Energy Minister Samir Valiyev attended the event at the State Philharmonic.
The event began with the national anthems of both countries.
Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev spoke about the friendly relations between the two countries:
"Italy has opened its first state office in the South Caucasus at the state level in Baku. This factor is a vivid example of the versatility of relations between the two countries.”
After the speeches, the event continued with a concert program.
