"As you know, a statue of Uzeyir Hajibeyli, bust and mausoleum of Molla Panah Vagif, and House Museum of Bulbul have been already restored. Following these, restoration works of Ashaghi and Yukari Govhar Agha Mosque, and Saatli mosques are underway. Restoration of Aghdam's Juma and Giyasli mosques will be started soon," said Azad Jafarli, head of the State Service for Protection, Development and Restoration of Cultural Heritage under the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan while delivering a speech at the international scientific conference called "Protection of Karabakh's cultural and architectural heritage", APA reports.
Head of the Service noted that in parallel, archeological works are underway in the Uzerliktepe: "After the completion of these works, implementation of the infrastructure projects in the area is considered".
