Our compatriots have adopted statement in protest against biased approach of France to our country, the State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA.

It is noted in the statement that on September 30, President of France Emmanuel Macron made non-serious statements not corresponding with truth while touching upon Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict and occurrences on the front in Latvia’s capital Riga city.

Later on he while acting as president of such a state as France cast slander on Azerbaijan based on false information and rumors, without any evidence and proof. These statements caused sharp protest of all Azerbaijanis living in all countries of the world. This shows once again that France as a co-chair country of the OSCE Minsk Group can’t protect its neutrality.

It is stated that a mediator should be neutral and fair. France doesn’t differentiate between the aggressor Armenia and Azerbaijan subjected to aggression and defends the occupant Armenia in a biased way.

It is reminded in the statement that France is the country that voted in 1993 in favor of the well-known four resolutions of the Un Security Council demanding withdrawal of the Armenian troops from Azerbaijan’s occupied territories.

Also, it was noted in the appeal that Azerbaijan is the righteous side, and the fair approach call was made on the world states and international organizations.

Note that the statement was signed by a total of 44 people including Azerbaijanis living in Azerbaijan, Turkey, Israel, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan and other countries, as well as representatives of friendly nations.
