Moldovan Azerbaijanis have issued a statement addressed to higher state structures of the country and international bodies in connection with Armenia’s provocations, State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA.
The statement informs about the aggression against our army and civilians carried out by Armenia in the occupied Azerbaijani lands.
It has been noted that as a result of the provocations of Armenia the situation in the region has escalated, a large number of civilians including children, women, elderly people have been killed and injured, residential areas seriously damaged.
Our compatriots living in Moldova call on the society of this country to influence and make pressure to official Yerevan in order to establish peace and stability in the South Caucasus, Armenia’s withdrawal from the occupied Azerbaijani lands and to stop fire.
