The damage caused to Azerbaijanis in California has been compensated, the State Committee for Work with Diaspora told APA.

President Ilham Aliyev’s attention and care for Azerbaijanis living abroad is always felt and namely, as a result, the damage caused by Armenian nationalists to our compatriots living in the USA during peaceful rally has been compensated.

Remind that Armenians inflicted body injuries to our compatriots, damaged cars belonging to them as well as various individual belongings who  protested in Los Angeles against Armenian provocations conducted in Tovuz region of Azerbaijan.

The State Committee for Work with the Diaspora paid $ 16,000 for material damage to our compatriots during the rally.

The sate of Azerbaijan after now will also take steps in order to protect the rights of our compatriots living abroad, as well as if any provocation case occurs it will continue to provide support to them.
