“We know which kind problems exist in the places in Georgia where Azerbaijanis live and which works should be carried out,” Chairman of State Committee on Work with Diaspora Fuad Muradov said at the press conference held at the Executive Secretariat of New Azerbaijan Party, APA reports.

He stated that a joint action plan with the Ministry of Education and other organizations have been prepared and presented to the government: “As you know, the Azerbaijani Ministry of Educations send textbooks to Georgia. The number of these books is increased every year. This is one of the main issues. Nowadays, some shortages exist there and we discuss them. It is mainly related to ageing of teachers. There is a shortage of teachers in some Azerbaijani schools due to aging of teachers.”

The Head of Committee stated that negotiations are underway on establishment of Azerbaijani-Georgian joint university: “Agreement have been reached to set quotas for Azerbaijani youth in Georgia to study at Azerbaijani universities. Works are underway in this direction. Allocation of these quotas is planned from the next year.”
