Association of Friends of Azerbaijan operating in Paris, the capital of France, has strongly condemned the launch of large-scale military operations by the Armenian armed forces on Azerbaijani soil, State Committee for Work with the Diaspora told APA.
The statement signed by honored deputy Jean-Francois Mancel reads that Azerbaijan defends its rights and the current situation is the result of the inertia of the international unity: “Occupying Nagorno Garabagh by violating norms of international law and UN resolutions, Armenia has committed a provocation again and serious clashes have occurred. Unfortunately, this situation is the result of the inertia of the international community, which has never been able to offer a solution in accordance with international law after taking control of the conflict.”
It has been noted that Association states not to freeze the conflict, and the lands occupied by Armenia should be liberated. “If any step is not be taken in this field, new tragedies will happen. France should say its word in this issue.”
