Yahya Tasdelen, one of the proactive members of the Azerbaijani Diaspora in Turkey has died, APA reports.
Yahya Tasdelen was born in 1929 in Turkey’s Kars province. He received his higher education in Ankara University, and during his career history Y. Tasdelen was promoted to the post of head of Executive Office at the Ministry of Agriculture.
During 1952-55, when the founder of the Azerbaijan People’s Republic Mahammad Amin Rasulzade stayed in Ankara, Y. Tasdelen worked jointly with him.
He was the last person who saw Rasulzade alive.
He was conferred the title of honorable professor of Ganja Agrarian University and the Azerbaijani citizenship.
