Solidarity rally of Azerbaijanis was held in Canada’s Calgary City

The peaceful protest rally was held in Canada with organizational support of Alberta Azerbaijan Culture Society (ALACS) in order to inform the local community about Armenia’s aggression against Azerbaijan, the State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA.


The rally that started from the area in front of the offices of the Globe And Mail and The Canadian Press media companies publishing biased and non-objective reports against Azerbaijan and ended in front of building of Calgary City municipality.

The terrorist acts of committed by the aggressor Armenian army against peaceful population including also juvenile children and women in Ganja and Barda cities were condemned.

Our compatriots demanded from the Canadian media to disseminate news about events in unbiased way and in accordance with the reality.

The placards reflecting information about terrorist actions of Armenians were demonstrated, such slogans as “Garabagh is Azerbaijan!”, “Put an end to the Armenian aggression!”, “Media, inform the truth!”, “Long live, Azerbaijan!” were voiced during the rally.

In the end, the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was sung.

Canada’s CTV television channel broadcasted video report about the rally.
