The State Committee on Work with Diaspora of the Republic of Azerbaijan has appealed to Azerbaijanis living abroad, the Committee told APA.

The Statement reads:

"Our dear compatriots! By instruction of the President of Azerbaijan, the Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev, the necessary responses are being given in all areas to the attacks of the Armenian provocateurs on the site of Tovuz region of the Azerbaijani territory during the recent one week.

We would like to note your special role in exposure and delivery to the attention of the local wide public of this dirty intention of Armenia. The occupant country has also targeted the civil population by its dirty actions, and various acts of vandalism have been committed.

As the blows launched on the provocateur by the Azerbaijani army, you also act in support of our army have demonstrated special unity. About 100 various Diaspora organizations and activists in 25 countries have issued up to 100 statements. 70 articles and news in 14 languages have been published in 20 countries.

A total of 41 rallies were held during that period in 20 foreign countries, and over 10 thousand of our compatriots participated in those rallies. These rallies will be continued without fail. It is worth special stressing that while Armenia implemented its occupant policy, the attempts to hold non-permitted rallies in front of Azerbaijani embassies were maid by Armenians in some countries. But as a result of your prompt interference by demonstrating unity, these rallies were resolutely prevented.

The incidents occurring in Poland, the USA, the Netherlands, and other countries can be mentioned as examples of a demonstration of the unity of this kind.

We know that our compatriots hold only permitted rallies in accordance with the laws of the countries where they live.

This shows that Azerbaijanis follow the laws of the countries where they live and act within the framework of civil rules while conveying their voice of justice to the world. According to the information we have, the Armenian diaspora is in panic and intends to resort to different provocations.

However, we are sure that our compatriots give them the necessary answers and will definitely continue to do so after this.

During this week, Azerbaijanis living abroad will hold permitted rallies in front of different international organizations and local parliaments.

Business people, scientists, diaspora organizations, diaspora activists- every Azerbaijani living outside the country demonstrates support to Azerbaijan."
