The World Ahyska Turks Association has come up with statement expressing its support to Azerbaijan and condemning Armenia’s aggressive policy, The State Committee on Work with Diaspora told APA.
It is said in the statement of the organization’s Turkey, Kazakhstan and France representations disseminated in various languages that Azerbaijan has always taken under its wing the Ahyska Turks while the Ahyska Turks see Azerbaijan as their Motherland.
The crimes committed by Armenia against our country were stressed in the statement, while the provocations committed against the peaceful Azerbaijani population on July 12 of the current year in Tovuz and on September 27 in the cities situated along the whole front line, as well as far from the front line were brought to the notice.
It is also noted in the statement that in the first Garabagh war, the Ahyska Turks also propped up to defense of the Motherland from the Azerbaijani side.
“As in the past, today as well, the Ahyska Turks are ready to fight for the native lands being under occupation together with the heroic sons who are able to hold weapons in their hands in the righteous struggle of Azerbaijan”, the statement reads.
