Chairwoman of the Uzbek Supreme Assembly's Senate: Heydar Aliyev's services to Uzbekistan are not forgotten

"Heydar Aliyev is the founder of modern Azerbaijan statehood," said the Chairwoman of the Uzbek Supreme Assembly's Senate Tanzila Narbayeva at the special meeting of Milli Majlis dedicated to the 100th anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev, APA reports.

Tanzila Narbayeva noted that Heydar Aliyev's services to Uzbekistan are not forgotten: "There is a street named after Heydar Aliyev in Uzbekistan, the bas-relief was inaugurated. The 100th anniversary of Heydar Aliyev is also celebrated in Uzbekistan, a series of events are held. This is an indication of the great respect of the Uzbek people for Heydar Aliyev. The memory of Heydar Aliyev will always live in the hearts of the Uzbek people".
