“I observed the voting process in a number of polling stations today. No incident was recorded during my observation,” US observer Mitch Silberman said at a press conference, APA reports.

“Today we are witnessing the future. The elections were held in accordance with the rules, ”he said.

Another US observer, Rafael Nectal, Bukhara's Jewish coordinator for the United States and Canada, said no violations were revealed during the observation: "There are some differences between the US and Azerbaijan in electoral practice. Using inks in Azerbaijan during the election has caused me a lot of interest. At the same time, as a Jew, I say that there is respect for religious minorities in Azerbaijan. I visited Albert Aganurov's monument and the Alley of Martyrs. In Azerbaijan, they remember the memory of Aganurov. I thank the people of Azerbaijan for this."

Martin Kruming, a professor at the University of San Diego, a member of the US public observation mission, said they have witnessed the struggle for free elections and democracy in Azerbaijan: "In this regard, Azerbaijan is a bright example for other countries."
