Azerbaijan's CEC Chairman expresses gratitude to the international media

"We will investigate election appeals with the participation of the media and the public," said Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC) today at a press conference following a snap parliamentary election in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Mr. Panahov said that everyone should assist the processes within their means: "There were 2,773 observers from 21 NGOs in the elections. This was a very serious indicator. At the same time, there were 989 authorized representatives. We will take the positions of these authorized representatives very seriously. 199 international media outlets from 132 international media voiced their views. Even during the day, their activity was felt. That should be an example for us. They noted that there is some deficiency in our work as commissions."
