Central Election Commission (CEC) has clarified in which cases the results of elections to Azerbaijani Parliament may be canceled in constituencies, CEC Secretary Mikayil Rahimov told APA.

He said that according to the law if the results are canceled in more than 2/5 of the constituency districts, and in this 2/5 part of the precincts more than 25% of all constituency voters live, in which case the constituency’s voting results must be canceled.

M. Rahimov stressed that if the number of polling stations canceled over the constituency is less than 2/5 of total number of polling stations over that constituency, even the number of voters in those polling stations constitute more than 25% of voters over the constituency, the results of the elections should not be canceled in that constituency.
