Azerbaijan's CEC submits final protocol on parliamentary elections to Constitutional Court

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has submitted to the Constitutional Court for approval the protocol on general outcomes of the snap elections to the Azerbaijani Parliament held on February 9, CEC secretary Mikayil Rahimov told APA.

M. Rahimov noted that the final protocol has been submitted to the Constitutional Court today.

Note that the Constitutional Court should approve within 10 days the final results of the snap elections to the Azerbaijani Parliament.

Based on the clauses 171.1, 171.3, 171.4 of the Election Code, the Constitutional Court should check and approve the final outcomes and results of the elections to the Azerbaijani Parliament within the period of 10 days after receipt of relevant documents (that period may be extended if required by the checking process).

Remind that the CEC checked and summed up the results of the elections to the Azerbaijani Parliament on February 25.
