Azerbaijani CEC discloses voter turnout as of 12:00 p.m

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has disclosed voter turnout as of 12:00 p.m. at the municipal elections held today, Farid Orujov, Head of Information Center of CEC Secretariat told APA.

He said about duration and results of the voting as of 12:00 p.m that the countrywide voter turnout amounted to 898452 persons as of 12:00 p.m. The voter turnout accounted for 18.07 percent.

Note that the municipal elections were launched today, at 08:00 a.m. The election will end at 19:00 o’clock. Besides, the preliminary data on the course and results of the voting will be provided by Information Center of CEC Secretariat at 15.00, 17.00 and 19.00 o’clock. The received data regarding the course and results of the polling are considered as preliminary data not bearing a legal significance.
