Azerbaijani CEC discloses voter turnout as of 17:00

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has disclosed voter turnout as of 17:00 p.m. at the municipal elections held today, Farid Orujov, Head of Information Center of CEC Secretariat told APA.

He said about duration and results of the voting as of 5 p.m. that the countrywide voter turnout amounted to 1520133 persons as of 5 p.m.

The voter turnout accounted for 30,57 percent.

Note that the municipal elections were launched today, at 8 a.m. The election will end at 7 p.m. Besides, the preliminary data on the course and results of the voting will be provided by the Information Center of CEC Secretariat at 7 p.m. The received data regarding the course and results of the polling are considered as preliminary data not bearing a legal significance.
