“I have difficulty in saying for what period the quarantine regime will be extended”, Hikmet Hajiyev, Assistant to the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration told APA.
H. Hajiyev noted that after receipt of relevant recommendations and information about the epidemiological situation from the Taskforce under the Cabinet of Ministers, the decision will be taken regarding extension of the quarantine regime: “But the analysis and review of the epidemiological situation including the processes going on in the world show that there are certain ideas and recommendations regarding extension of the quarantine regime. And the period of extension of the quarantine regime will depend on the process because some processes and conditions require situational assessment. Because though there are plans and the direction of the planned activity has been determined, everything can change at any moment. Therefore, situational analyses are important. The decisions can be adopted on the basis of results of the situational analyses including comprehensive assessment”.
