Baku police brings 2655 people to administrative responsibility over violation of special quarantine regime

Baku police officers and servicemen of the Internal Troops in order to prevent the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) infection, continue special inspections at the entrances and exits of 5 cities and 12 districts where a strict quarantine regime is applied, the press service of the Interior Ministry told APA.

On December 18, 2020, 1921 vehicles trying to pass through these posts without proper permission were identified. Also, administrative sanctions were imposed on 2,655 people violating the rules of the quarantine regime in the country during this period.

All measures taken in this direction serve to ensure the safety of the population and protect their health.

Therefore, Baku Police asks citizens to understand the isolation measures applied and not to leave their homes unnecessarily.
