CEC Chairman: “802 people applied to participate in early parliamentary elections”

802 candidates have applied in order to participate in early parliamentary elections scheduled on February 9 in Azerbaijan, so far,” chairman of Committee Mazahir Panahov said at Central Election Committee’s meeting held today, APA reports.

He stated that 123 people of candidates have been put forward by 8 political parties.

Chairman of CEC noted that the nomination of 447 people of those who applied has been already approved, 339 of them has already taken their signature sheets.
