“Time and again the web-camera practice is used during elections. The web-cameras have been installed in approximately up to 20 percent of polling stations i.e. 1,000 polling stations in Azerbaijan”, said Mazahir Panahov, Chairman of Central Election Commission (CEC), APA reports.

The CEC chairman noted that it is very easy to enter the web-cameras: “No permission is required. Any person can track the course of voting at 1,000 polling stations on the election day by entering the official website of the CEC. Irrespective of a part of the Earth planet where he (she) currently stays, any person will be able to track the elections that will be held in Azerbaijan. This method is also accepted in the election practice of democratic countries. All conditions have been created in Azerbaijan for implementation of the elections in transparent and free manner”.
