CEC chairman: “Footages on social media will be investigated, persons committed violations to be punished”

Central Election Commission (CEC) is investigating the footages shared on social media, Mazahir Panahov, chairman of CEC stated at today’s meeting.

CEC chairman stated that footages regarding violations of the law will be investigated, persons who committed violations will be punished.

“Spread of videos on social media regarding violations of law is a very good tradition. The persons who posted these footages are our real assistants. At the same time, some persons try to take advantage of it in some meaning. We offer that anyone who has any materials to present us without delay. We create this opportunity for everyone.”
