Charge d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in Baku has been summoned to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA), the MFA told APA.
During the meeting, the issue of using unacceptable expressions by a member of the Russian State Duma from the ruling “United Russia” party, Vitaly Milonov against the Azerbaijani state and people during an interview with the Armenian media has been raised before the Russian embassy's Chargé d'Affaires, and this act of the member of the State Duma has been denounced.
As well as, it was noted that the saboteur act of the member of the Russian State Duma V. Milonov against Azerbaijan is completely contradictory to the high-level relations between Azerbaijan and Russia.
It has been noted that the thoughts, that V.Milonov has stated, do not express the official position of Moskow and such steps are aimed at damaging relations between the two countries and hindering the implementation of the agreement that was reached.
