First meetings of extraordinary session of Azerbaijani Parliament to be held on June 1 and 2

“82 deputies have appealed to me for holding of extraordinary session”, said speaker Sahiba Gafarova, APA reports.

“I have signed relevant order. The initial meetings of the extraordinary session of the Azerbaijani Parliament will be held on June 1 and 2", S. Gafarova said.

The Speaker said the changes proposed to be made in the Administrative Offences Code will be brought up for discussion at the meetings.

Note that the changes proposed to be made in the Administrative Offences Code have been adopted today in the first reading in the Azerbaijan Parliament.

According to the draft changes, the individuals will be fined in the amount of AZN 50, the senior officials – in the amount of AZN 100, and the legal entities – in the amount of AZN 200 for violation of the requirements determined by relevant executive power agency in regard to use of personal equipment protecting respiratory passages from epidemic during the period of the sanitary and hygiene and quarantine regimes, as well as the failure of the senior officials to prevent violation of those requirements.

For the repeated committing of this offence by a person subjected to administrative sanction from the day of entry into force of the decision about sentencing to administrative sanction until the expiry of the period of anti-epidemic, sanitary and hygiene and quarantine regimes, the individuals will be fined in the amount of AZN 100, the senior officials – in the amount of AZN 200, the legal entities – in the amount of AZN 400.
