“The issue of the parliamentary minority should find its reflection in legislation”, said in a statement Gudrat Hasanguliyev, deputy chairman of Legal policy and state building committee of the Azerbaijani Parliament during the discussion regarding the plan of ligislative works of the spring session at the plenary meeting of the Azerbaijani Parliament held today, APA reports.
G. Hasanguliyev said for this purpose, the relevant changes should be made in the Internal Statutes of the Azerbaijani Parliament, in the law “About deputy’s status” and in other laws: “We can merge some committees. I propose to adopt the law about legal status of the occupied territories because the time has long been ripe for this. In the countries living through the same fate, such law has already been adopted”.
