“We witnessed the hypocritical policy of Armenia in the last interview of Armenian Ambassador to Israel Armen Smbatyan once more. A. Smbatyan tried to show himself as a supporter of the establishment of contacts between Azerbaijani and Armenian nations in the interview”, said Tural Ganjaliyev Head of the Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Garabagh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan, APA reports.
He said that as one of the parties to the conflict, the Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Garabagh region of the Republic of Azerbaijan has been suggesting conduction of a dialogue between Armenian and Azerbaijani residents of our region for many years: “However political leadership of Armenia, which has raised Azerbaijanophobia to the level of state policy, not only prevents it but also denies the existence of the Azerbaijani Community of Nagorno Garabagh region shamelessly.
If A. Sambayan is really in favor of a dialogue between two nations, then let him support the proposal of the Azerbaijani community of Nagorno Garabagh. But the saying “The solution of the conflict does not depend on us, but OSCE Minsk group” by Ambassador of aggressor Armenia, which occupied the territories of Azerbaijan, subjecting more than 1 million of Azerbaijanis to ethnic cleansing is another manifestation of his country that tries to escape from responsibility.
The reason for not solving the conflict up today is the illegal existence of Armenian troops in the territories of Azerbaijan. By withdrawing of its forces of Armenia from our occupied territories, the relations between two people can easily be resumed.”
