Heavy rain caused complications in Azerbaijan’s Ganja - PHOTO

The heavy rain has caused complications in Azerbaijan’s Ganja City, APA’s local bureau reports.

The heavy rain that started to fall on territory of the city in the morning hours, today has caused damage to the urban economy. The rain waters have filled up the cellars of the houses, and the homestead areas have been flooded in Mahsati, Gulustan and many other districts of the city.

Currently, the employees of the Ministry of Emergency Situations are conducting work in the area of pumping out the water filled in cellars.

It is also worth mentioning that today, due to heavy rain, the fence of the Central Clinical Hospital situated in Ganja City has collapsed. Consequently, a part of the on-ground gas pipeline with diameter of 76 mm owned by the hospital has fallen into unfit condition.
