İsraeli ambassador to Azerbaijan: “Tolerance in Azerbaijan can be example for other countries"

Anatoliy Rafailov, the head of the working group for Azerbaijan-Israel inter-parliamentary relations has met with the Israeli ambassador to Azerbaijan George Dick on February 23, the Press and Public Relations Department of the Milli Majlis told APA.

The MP greeting the guest has talked about friendly relations between our countries. He noted that high-level relations of Azerbaijani and Israeli state leaders play a crucial role in the development of all fields. He noted Jews have also chosen Azerbaijan as a homeland which is the homeland of many religions and nations, and have lived here in peace and tranquility for many years.

The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Israel to Azerbaijan Mr. George Dick has expressed that the existing relations between the two countries will be also continued in the future. The ambassador noted that his acquaintance with the Jewish community of Azerbaijan made a great impression on him and that tolerance here can be an example for other countries. George Dick noted that multiculturalism is an important part of the Azerbaijani community.
