“The Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan (Milli Majlis) also keeps the situation regarding coronavirus infection in the country at the focus of attention. In order to assist the issue of the removal of the disease, concerning the world, as well as Azerbaijani community, Parliament takes an active part in the process of assisting to the Fund of Support for Fight against Coronavirus, established in accordance with the Decree of the President of Azerbaijan dated March 19, 2020, with financial contribution”, press service of Milli Majlis told APA.
The report says the senior officials and the personnel of the committees of the Azerbaijani Parliament, the Administrative Office and the executive secretariat of the Parliament have taken a decision to allocate a certain part of their monthly salary for this benevolent and very important initiative.
