M. Panahov: “Media representatives can follow election process independently in any polling station they want”

“Media representatives are independent during election processes. They can independently follow election process in any polling station they want”, Chairman of the Azerbaijani Central Election Commission Mazahir Panahov said at press conference held today, APA reports.

He stated everything has been provided to inform public on news related to elections: “Citizens have been provided with new generation of ID cards since end of 2018 in Azerbaijan. Currently, 1.5 mln. people have been given new generation of ID cards. In this regard, all polling stations have been provided with chip reading devices. There is not any problem in this issue.”
