The number of the parties having appealed for participation in the snap parliamentary elections scheduled for February 9 has reached 20 in Azerbaijan, APA reports.
An authorized representative of one more party – Citizens and Development Party was registered at the meeting of the Central Election Commission held today.
Note that previously the authoritative representatives of 19 political parties - New Azerbaijan Party, Azerbaijan Hope Party, Civic Solidarity Party, Great Revival Party, Whole Azerbaijan Popular Front Party, National Revival Movement Party, Azerbaijan National Independence Party, Azerbaijan Democratic Party, Great Azerbaijan Party, United Party of Azerbaijan, Motherland Party, Azerbaijan Evolution Party, Equality Party, Azerbaijan Social Prosperity Party, Unity Party, Party for Democratic Reforms, Azerbaijan Liberal Democratic Party, Azerbaijan Democratic Enlightenment Party and Modern Equality Party were registered.
