Orders and medals established in Azerbaijan on the occasion of victory in Patriotic War

New medals and orders have been established in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

It has been reflected in the law draft on the amendment on the law of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the establishment of orders and medals of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, which has been discussed in the third reading today regarding the establishment of orders and medals of the Republic of Azerbaijan “On the occasion of victory in Patriotic War”.

According to the project, orders of “On the occasion of victory in Patriotic War”, “Victory”, and “Karabakh” have been established. At the same time, medals of “Hero of Patriotic War”, “Brave fighter”, “For distinction at the battle”, “For liberation of Sugovushan”, “For liberation of Jabrayil”, “For liberation of Khojavend”, “For liberation of Fuzuli”, “For liberation of Zangilan”, “For liberation of Gubadli”, “For liberation of Shusha”, “For liberation of Kalbajar”, “For liberation of Aghdam”, “For liberation of Lachin”, “Participant of Patriotic War”, and “For services in back front in Patriotic War” have been established.

The law draft has been put to a vote and adopted.
