Process of nomination of candidates to Milli Majlis regarding early elections starts

The process of nomination of candidates on single-mandate constituencies regarding early elections to the Milli Majlis has started, APA reports.

According to articles 3, 53, 54, 146 of Election Code, after the official publication of the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the appointment of the elections, the process of nominating candidates on single-mandate constituencies start.

By the order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 5, 2019, early elections to the Milli Majlis have been scheduled for Sunday, February 9, 2020. The order was officially published on December 6.

So, the process of nomination of candidates on single-mandate constituencies appointed for February 9, 2020, was started on December 6.
