The next meeting of the Working Group on Economic Affairs of the Interdepartmental Center under the Coordination Headquarters established for the centralized settlement of issues in the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan was held, APA reports.

In order to coordinate the organization of economic activity in the liberated lands, the Working Group on Economic Affairs, which involves representatives of relevant government agencies, is working on processes such as inventory of property, vectorization of pre-occupation maps, as well as support for economic activity.

Relevant agencies have started implementing the Group's sectoral action plan. Thus, the State Service for Property Issues under the Ministry of Economy has completed the field inventory of many properties, several infrastructures, transport and supplies, as well as land inventory. The Karabakh Inventory Program, consisting of web-based, text and graphic components, was developed and improved over time. At present, an environment of technical integration is being established with relevant government agencies and organizations.

The Agency for Small and Medium Business Development under the Ministry of Economy is responsible for receiving, analyzing, informing entrepreneurs, giving relevant recommendations and directing appeals related to the implementation of entrepreneurial activities in these areas.

More than 400 applications for investment projects have already been received. Priority of investment projects is analyzed, potential projects are identified and included in the database.

Proposals are being prepared for the formation of new incentives, including the creation of industrial parks, industrial districts and agro-parks.

In accordance with the Sectoral Action Plan, the State Tourism Agency is working to assess the tourism potential of the liberated areas, to form a regional tourism strategy in the region, to develop tourist routes.

The Group carries out its activities in the format of close communication and information exchange with other Working Groups of the Interdepartmental Center.

The Coordination Headquarters established by the Order of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated November 24, 2020 is headed by the Head of the Presidential Administration Samir Nuriyev.
