Voter turnout reaches 39.23 % in Azerbaijani parliamentary election as of 15:00

Central Election Commission (CEC) of Azerbaijan disclosed data related to voters turnout as of 15:00 in the voting process at today's parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan, APA reports.

Farid Orujov, head of information center under the CEC Secretariat stated that 2 090 589 people have already cast their ballots as of 15.00, which means 39.23 % of the total number of eligible voters across the country.

Note that snap elections to Milli Majlis (Parliament) started at 08.00 and will end at 19.00. Besides that preliminary information will be provided regarding the process and results of voting at 17.00 and 19.00 by information center under the CEC Secretariat. Information on the course and results of the voting is considered to be non-legal preliminary data.
