Deputy PM: No reasons for holding extraordinary parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan

“I do not know the reason of the rumours about extraordinary parliamentary elections in Azerbaijan,” said Ali Ahmadov, Deputy Prime Minister, Deputy Chairman and Executive Secretary of the New Azerbaijan Party, APA reports.

According to him, journalists may want to increase the number of readers with this information: "There are no reasons for holding extraordinary parliamentary elections in the country."

A. Ahmadov said that municipal elections will be held in December of the current year: “The constitution states that the parliamentary elections should be held every five years in November. According to the legislation, next parliamentary elections will be held in November 2020."
