Ali Ahmadov: UN resolutions on Nagorno-Karabakh have not being implemented yet

Paying a visit to New York, the United States of America on July 9-18, Ali Ahmadov, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan has had a speech in the high-level meeting, held in UN General Assembly on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Cairo Conference on Population and Development, APA reports.

Deputy Prime Minister Ali Ahmadov, stressing the significance of the conference, held since 1994, stated that the Conference proved the welfare of the population is in focus of attention of the Conference initiatives.

Additionally, Ali Ahmadov emphasized that 20 percent of Azerbaijani territories were captured as a result of the aggressive invasion policy of Armenia and more than 1 million population became refugees and internally displaced, and the resolutions, accepted by the UN Security Council on the solution of this conflict has not been followed yet.
