"Baku Parliament Platform on Dialog and Cooperation " has been established in Baku, APA reports.
The Member of the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Vice-President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Azay Guliyev, deputy Chairman of the Milli Majlis, head of the Azerbaijani delegation to the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly Bahar Muradova, the MP of Azerbaijani Parliament Sahiba Gafarova, President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly (OSCE PA) George Tsereteli, Vice President of the German Bundestag Thomas Oppermann, Vice-Speaker of the Turkish Grand National Assembly Sureyya Sadi Bilgic, Mustafa Hilmi Dulger, member of the Interior Affairs Committee of the Turkish Grand National Assembly attend the meeting.
They stressed in their speech that the platform will contribute to peace and dialogue.
Parliamentary Conference on Regional Security and Cooperation will be held in Baku every year in June in order to discuss the ways to prevent threats to regional security, to strengthen mutual trust and dialogue, to raise the level of cooperation between the participating countries to a qualitatively new level, to develop existing relations in transport and energy.
Azay Guliyev is elected the coordinator of the "Parliamentary Platform on Dialogue and Cooperation".
